FK 5 1 12, which firstly renown as Novec 1230 agent, is an excellent clean agent fire extinguishant which was developed as a halon replacement and hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) alternative. FK 5 1 12 belongs to a family of chemicals called halocarbons, a group which includes HFCs and fluoroketones. FK5112 is a fluoroketone, while chemical clean agents like FM-200 and ECARO-25® are HFCs (HFC-227ea, HFC-125).
FK 5 1 12 clean agent is a liquid at room temperature with low tank pressure and convenience of transportation, easy for filling.
FK5112 meets the most stringent international evironmental regulations.
All the Class A, B, C fire can be extinguised by FK5112 without any corrosion to metal (Carbon steel, Cu, Mo and Stainless Steel), or any damage to electronic cimponents and circuit on account of its good insulation property.
