1. lmprove water resistant and rheological properties of ink, for example: adjusting its viscosity and making ink looseand short.
2.Increase its fixation ability, make the printing outlets clear and complete, reduce smearing and agglomerate.
3.lmprove its smoothness to guarantee normal printing production
4.Inerease friction resistance, it could be stayed on the surface of ink film to increase it's friction resistance.
It could be added into offset printing ink, flexo and gravure printing ink at recommend ratio of 1-3%. our PTFE micropowder perform better than other high end products in many application properties such as: gloss, abrasion resistanceand smoothmess. Other performance is also very competitive in the world market. The ink containing PTFE micropowderresist abrasion and rub appreciably better than inks without the additive, as the chart shown in (a), (b):
(a)The Graphic Arts Comprehensive Abrasion Testcan simulate the relative motion of Surfaces during shipping. The ink contained 1% PTFE micropowder which largely eliminated ink abrasion as well as pickupon the blank sheet.
(b)The Sutherland Rub Tester moves a weighted.test strip against a printed test specimen. After 50 strokes at four psi, ink containing 1% PTFE micropowder was far superior to the sample without additives.
