Global Gas R134a Refrigerant

Freon 134A is a new refrigerant belonging to hydrofluorocarbon (HFC). Its boiling point is -26.5℃. Its thermal performance is close to R12 (CFC12), ozone-destroying potential ODP is 0, but greenhouse potential WGP is 1300, and it is now used in refrigerators, freezers and automobile air conditioning systems in place of FREon 12.

Its advantages over R12 lie in the following aspects:

1, R134a does not contain chlorine atoms, the atmospheric ozone layer does not damage;

2. R134a has good safety performance (non-flammable, non-explosive, non-toxic, non-irritating and non-corrosive);

3. R134a's heat transfer performance is relatively close, so it is easy to modify the refrigeration system;

4, R134a heat transfer performance is better than R12, so the amount of refrigerant can be greatly reduced.
