R23 Refrigerant

 

R23 refrigerant, used as a replacement for R13 and R503 in very low temperature refrigeration. R23 refrigerant is also used as a clean fire suppressant as a replacement for Halon 1301. R23 is most commonly used in cascade systems at an evaporating temperature of -60°C to -100°C and at a condensing temperature of approximately -10°C to -40°C. 

R23 Storage should be away from fire, heat and avoid direct sunlight, it usually put in a cool, dry and ventilated place. In case the cylinder, valves and other accessories are damaged, it should be handled with care.
