As a medium and high temperature refrigerant widely used today, R-407C is used to replace R22 and R502. It has the characteristics of clean, low toxicity, non-flammability, and good cooling effect. R407C and R22 have different physical and chemical properties, theoretical cycle performance, and compressor oil. Therefore, for after-sales maintenance of refrigeration equipment initially installed with R22 refrigerant, if you need to add or replace the refrigerant, you can still only add R22. Usually R407C cannot be used to directly replace R22 (exchange-type replacement is not possible; however, for refrigeration equipment initially installed with R22, R417A can be used to directly replace R22 during maintenance or replacement).

R407C can be used in the original R22 system without redesigning the system. It only needs to replace a few parts of the original system and replace the mineral refrigeration oil in the original system with a lubricating oil (POE oil) that is miscible with R407C, and then it can be filled directly.
