R23 is generally considered to be non-toxic, but it can displace oxygen in poorly ventilated areas, leading to asphyxiation. Like other compressed gases, it should be handled with caution, and appropriate safety measures should be followed.

R23 Storage should be away from fire, heat and avoid direct sunlight, it usually put in a cool, dry and ventilated place.
