HFA 134a Medical Propellant (1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane) is a 'non-ozone depleting' candidate for use as a drug propellant in multi-dose inhalers (MDIs).
HFA 134a Medical Propellant is miscible with ethanol in all proportions, it can effectively support a number of suspension formulations such as salbutamol sulphate and fluticasone. Such alcohol free suspension formulations often require the use of coated or plasma treated cans, which inhibits drug adhesion to the walls.Specifications
