HFA-152a propellant is a type of hydrofluoroalkane (HFA) that is widely used as a propellant in pharmaceutical inhalers, such as metered-dose inhalers (MDIs). It is also known as 1,1-difluoroethane and is a colorless gas that is odorless and non-flammable at room temperature and pressure. HFA-152a propellant is considered to be a more environmentally friendly alternative to chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) propellants, which were phased out due to their harmful impact on the ozone layer.

How to storage

HFA 152A propellant are packed in pressurized containers. When stored, they should be kept away from fire, heat sources, and direct sunlight. They are usually stored in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse; they should be loaded and unloaded with care when handling to prevent cylinders and valves from being exposed to the sun.
